Rogers Video "I, Robot Sweepstakes"
  1. NO PURCHASE IS REQUIRED. To enter, complete the on-line entry form. All entrants also must be a current subscriber to the free Rogers Video email newsletter. One entry per person. Current newsletter subscribers may enter through the on-line entry form.

  2. This contest is open to all residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province of residence, except employees, directors, officers, representatives or agents of Rogers Video, contest judges, and any persons domiciled with any of the above. Entrants under the age of majority are eligible to enter this contest and win a prize described herein provided: (i) the entrant obtains permission from his/her parent(s) or legal guardian(s) prior to submitting an entry; (ii) the winning entrant's parent(s) or legal guardian(s) accepts the prize on his/her behalf; and (iii) the winning entrant otherwise satisfies the terms and conditions set out herein. Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties to reach a settlement.

  3. The contest commences on November 26, 2004 and runs until 11:59 p.m. (Pacific Standard Time) on January 3, 2005 (the "Contest Closing Date").

  4. All entries must be completed not later than 11:59 p.m. (Pacific Standard Time) on the Contest Closing Date.

  5. No responsibility will be taken for lost, stolen, misdirected, delayed, destroyed or illegible entries. All entry forms become the property of Rogers Video and will not be returned.

  6. The Grand prize shall consist of one (1) pair of containing (1) pair of Converse runners signed by Will Smith and (1) wood mounted I'Robot poster. The approximate retail price of the prize $250.00 (CDN). The runner up prize shall consist of (1) wood mounted I'Robot poster.

    Rogers Video does not offer any warranty, either expressly stated or implied, other than the manufacturers' warranty relating to each of the prizes. Each prize must be accepted as awarded, with no cash substitution, and is non-transferable.

    A random draw from all entries received will take place in Richmond, BC on or around January 17, 2005. Your chance of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received.

  7. To be eligible to win, each selected entrant must have complied with the contest rules and answered, unaided, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question. The selected entrant(s) will be contacted by email or phone within forty-eight (48) hours of the draw. If a selected entrant cannot be contacted within the aforementioned time period, or if so contacted, does not meet all of the contest terms and conditions, he/she does not receive the applicable prize and another entry will be randomly selected from all remaining eligible entries. The decisions of Rogers Video shall be final and binding on all entrants.

  8. Each prize winner (or his/her parent(s) or legal guardian(s), if applicable) must sign a standard declaration and release: (i) confirming compliance with the contest terms and conditions and acceptance of the prize as awarded; and (ii) releasing Rogers Video, its employees, representatives, affiliates and agents (collectively, the "Rogers Video Representatives") from any liability arising, in any manner, from participation in the contest, compliance with the contest terms and conditions and acceptance of the prize as awarded.

  9. By entering this contest, each entrant (or his/her parent(s) or legal guardian(s), if applicable) agrees to be bound by the contest terms and conditions and consents to the use of their name, city of residence and image on videotape and/or photograph without payment or compensation, in any publicity or advertising in any medium carried out by Rogers Video.

  10. Each entrant waives any liability of Rogers Video and the Rogers Video Representatives with regard to injury, accident, loss or damage of any kind arising out of his/her participation in this contest, compliance with the contest rules and acceptance of the prize as awarded. This contest is subject to all applicable Federal, Provincial and Municipal laws and regulations.

  11. The right is reserved by Rogers Video to terminate or withdraw this contest at any time without prior notice.

  12. The name of the winner may be obtained by mail by writing to Rogers Video - Attention Michael Seidelman at Suite #100-10991 Shellbridge Way, Richmond BC V6X 3C6 within one-hundred and twenty (120) days after the Contest Closing Date.
